Gorky Park frontman sang in Voshod

World Teachers day is celebrated on October 5. This year the celebration day come to be on Monday, so Pechenga district municipality, which is in charge for education in the area, decided to hold concert on week-end's Saturday, two days before the celebration day itself.

There is a corporative traditions to invite famous artists, if not stars, to perform on the local stages. The case is about the Day of Metallurgist, where people use to see stars of the past like Modern Talking and CC Catch. The number of KGMK workers in Pechenga is more than 4.000.

The number of teachers in Pechenga district is also big: 634 persons. They have their own concert, related to their corporative celebration.

This year the artist was Aleksandr Marshal - former frontman of Gorky Park group, maybe an only well-known Russian rock group among Norwegians in 90-s. After leaving Gorky Park in 1999 he switched to more calm Russian-text songs.
